On 10/01/17 I sold $50 worth of gift cards to Cardcash. To complete the transaction, the website said I needed to enter a verification code that would be texted to me.

When I CORRECTLY entered that code the website said the code was invalid. I requested a new code and was informed I had exceeded the number of permissible attempts at verification and I should contact customer service. Then, an order number flashed briefly on the screen followed by a message that my session would expire if I did not re-instate it. I did so but then there was no trace of my having placed an order and certainly no order number.

I emailed customer service explaining all of the above and promptly received a reply that I needed an order number. I emailed back that I did not have an order number and why. I have received no further response. Cardcash evidently is in the business of stealing.

Was it Benjamin Franklin who said, "A fool and his money are soon parted."?

In my own defense, these were cards I won in sweepstakes for retailers whose products I don't want. I am an old person and know I will continue to learn until I die.

Reason of review: Problems with payment.

Monetary Loss: $43.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

CardCash Pros: Website appeared professional and legitimate.

CardCash Cons: Website is designed to steal card value without reimbursement.
